What You'll Do10
- 1Build daily collections and deliveries, both local and interstate, ensuring safe handling and timely execution
- 2Design field documentation processes including condition reports and paperwork and secure approvals for manifest changes
- 3Work with the Driver to verify vehicles are safe, clean, and trip-ready and confirm shipment requirements against manifests
- 4Safely handle art, antiques, fragile items, and fine furniture and assist with installation projects
- 5Prepare condition checks and condition reports as required and pack artworks for transportation and storage
- 6Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles and support warehouse operations as directed
- 7Support inventory management and cycle counts with the Warehouse Manager
- 8Follow directions in small teams and maintain high level of attention to detail on every assignment
- 9Complete and submit signed timesheets within 24 hours when working away from the facility
- 10Maintain professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Previous experience in moving, logistics, warehousing, art handling, or related field preferred
- 3Valid ability to safely perform physical job requirements
- 4Experience packing, handling, and transporting furniture, artwork, antiques, or valuable household goods
- 5Understanding of inventory management and logistics processes and quick learner for best practices in handling art from collection through installation
- 6Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
- 7Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and customer-focused approach
- 8Ability to complete detailed paperwork, inventory documentation, and condition reports accurately
- 9Comfortable working with moving and warehouse equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- 10Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and move loads up to 120 lbs with team support and equipment
- 11Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull and perform physical tasks throughout the day
