Overview
Armed Security Officers and EMT-certified Unarmed Security Officers protect a Grand Prairie client site. You own safety and response on 12-hour shifts with full-time and part-time schedules. You monitor premises, de-escalate incidents, and document every action. The unarmed role adds EMT first aid duties within certification. What You'll Do8
- 1Patrol assigned areas to deter threats and spot safety issues.
- 2Follow site post orders and GPI Defense procedures exactly.
- 3Respond to incidents within your training and authority.
- 4Provide basic first aid when needed under EMT certification.
- 5Document incidents and observations in detailed reports.
- 6Alert supervisors and emergency services without delay.
- 7Maintain a visible presence that reassures clients and visitors.
- 8Stay alert and ready for foot patrols and stationary posts.
Requirements8
- 1Current EMT certification for unarmed positions.
- 2Non-Commissioned Security License for unarmed roles.
- 3Commissioned Security License for armed positions.
- 4Active Driver's License for both roles.
- 5Availability for 12-hour shifts, day or overnight.
- 6Consistent attendance for the accepted schedule.
- 7Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- 8Clear communication skills in written reports and radio.
