You will own weekend armed security operations at a Fishers, Indiana location, ensuring a secure environment with command presence and tactical proficiency. You will operate as a 1099 contractor for STAT Security Services, stepping in as the sole Saturday guard from 4:45pm to 10:00pm, with occasional Sundays. This role demands peak physical condition, 1-2 years of high-level armed security, law enforcement, or combat military experience, and proven firearm mastery. Unlike passive observation, you actively de-escalate threats and intervene when necessary. This seasonal contract offers potential for full-time or part-time hire later.
What You'll Do10
- 1Secure the assigned premises every Saturday from 4:45pm to 10:00pm, maintaining a visible and assertive presence.
- 2Conduct proactive patrols of the property, checking perimeters, entry points, and high-risk zones to deter incidents.
- 3Intervene immediately in any security breach or threat, using firearm and physical intervention techniques as trained.
- 4Monitor surveillance systems and access control points, identifying and reporting anomalous behavior in real time.
- 5Enforce site-specific policies while complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for licensed armed security.
- 6De-escalate confrontational situations using verbal commands and tactical positioning before physical engagement.
- 7Maintain situational awareness during low-light hours, adapting to environmental changes and potential hazards.
- 8Document all incidents, observations, and actions in a daily log, submitting reports to STAT Security Services within 24 hours.
- 9Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents, providing clear and concise updates.
- 10Represent the company with a professional uniform and demeanor, ensuring continuity with the established guard team.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years of high-level armed security, law enforcement, or combat military experience.
- 2Proven mastery of firearm safety, retention, and marksmanship, with a valid armed guard license or certification.
- 3Peak physical condition capable of prolonged standing (over 5 hours) and immediate physical intervention.
- 4Demonstrated command presence and tactical proficiency in high-stress environments.
- 5Availability every Saturday from 4:45pm to 10:00pm, with occasional Sunday shifts as needed.
- 6Willingness to wear black cargo pants and a black polo to match the company uniform standard.
- 7Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor and offer services to the general public.
