What You'll Do6
- 1Conduct armed patrols of assigned facilities, roadways, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and spot security concerns.
- 2Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- 3Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving action following post orders and reporting requirements.
- 4Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and the public, applying site-specific security procedures and access control.
- 5Write clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken during each shift.
- 6Maintain a visible, professional presence to support a welcoming environment and deter security-related incidents.
Requirements7
- 1Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state or local law.
- 2Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- 3Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 4Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- 5Pass a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- 6Complete industry-specific security training programs as required.
- 7Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
