Overview
Own Tier II support for 200+ legacy applications across a hybrid VPC and global network at the Department of State. Support the CSM and Modernized tools that keep federal missions running. Work with Tier III teams to certify applications for ATO. This role blends operations, DevOps, and security to reduce downtime and drive reliability.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage user access for 200+ legacy applications, ensuring secure and timely provisioning.
- 2Deploy new and legacy applications across the hybrid VPC, including installation, patching, and updates.
- 3Diagnose and resolve application issues, with a focus on preventive self-healing actions.
- 4Expedite approved changes to minimize downtime during critical maintenance windows.
- 5Collaborate with Tier III teams to renew and obtain application certifications for ATO readiness.
- 6Implement DevOps practices to streamline deployment and improve reliability.
- 7Provide emergency system support and execute emergency changes with minimal user disruption.
- 8Monitor application performance and availability to proactively address issues.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's in IT or related field.
- 25+ years in application support or related experience.
- 3Active Secret Security Clearance.
- 4AWS or Azure Associate certification.
- 5ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- 6Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification.
- 7Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and lift 40 pounds.
- 8Willingness to travel up to 25%.
