What You'll Do8
- 1Complete apartment turns to make-ready status within 48 hours, inspecting all systems and fixtures.
- 2Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, clogs, and valve failures using PEX and copper tools.
- 3Troubleshoot electrical outlets, breakers, and lighting, replacing faulty components safely.
- 4Service HVAC systems, including filter changes, thermostat calibration, and condenser coil cleaning.
- 5Repair appliances like stoves, dishwashers, and washers with manufacturer guides.
- 6Log all work orders in Yardi and Maintenance Connection within 24 hours of completion.
- 7Train junior techs on lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards.
- 8Perform move-in/move-out inspections, documenting damage and coordinating with vendors.
Requirements8
- 12+ years maintenance experience in apartment or facilities settings.
- 2Proficient in at least two trades: plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
- 3Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-call response.
- 4Flexible schedule with evenings, weekends, and 7-day availability.
- 5Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders and scaffolding.
- 6Read blueprints and schematics to identify system layouts.
- 7Pass a four-panel drug screen and background check.
- 8English fluency for work orders and resident communication.
