Overview
We are seeking a dependable hardworking individual to support day-to-day maintenance operations unit turns and resident service requests at a residential apartment community in Newark NJ. The ideal candidate is proactive reliable and maintains a professional attitude while delivering quality work.
What You'll Do9
- 1Complete routine maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- 2Perform basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- 3Assist with apartment unit turns and make-readies
- 4Replace fixtures hardware and other apartment components as needed
- 5Support painting touch-up work and general property upkeep
- 6Inspect units and common areas for maintenance concerns
- 7Help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for residents
- 8Communicate professionally with residents vendors and site staff
- 9Follow all community safety policies and procedures
Requirements8
- 1Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- 2Knowledge of basic plumbing and general maintenance repairs
- 3Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 4Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- 5Reliable transportation
- 6Bilingual Spanish English preferred
- 7Dependent attendance and punctuality required
