What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain high-quality anesthesia care in the operating room across diverse case types
- 2Lead coverage during primary weekday calls and weekend calls with minimal disruption to post-call recovery days
- 3Collaborate with OB teams when needed and supervise CRNAs for OB services
- 4Maintain patient safety and anesthesia standards consistent with Level III trauma center expectations
- 5Provide ongoing perioperative management and rapid response to intraoperative changes
- 6Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and peer coaching
- 7Participate in 24/7 on-call availability with structured rotation and off days
- 8Support a multidisciplinary team including physicians and CRNAs to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements9
- 1Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- 2Recent experience in Level III trauma facilities or higher within one year
- 3Proficiency in managing neurosurgical cases
- 4Ability to work primarily in the OR with optional OB backup responsibilities
- 5Compliance with malpractice and tail coverage provisions
- 6Strong collaboration and communication skills
- 7Eligibility to work in the United States
- 8Willingness to participate in a 1099 contractual arrangement
- 9Capacity to handle a 39-week service period with substantial time off
