What You'll Do8

  • 1Build and maintain high-quality anesthesia care in the operating room across diverse case types
  • 2Lead coverage during primary weekday calls and weekend calls with minimal disruption to post-call recovery days
  • 3Collaborate with OB teams when needed and supervise CRNAs for OB services
  • 4Maintain patient safety and anesthesia standards consistent with Level III trauma center expectations
  • 5Provide ongoing perioperative management and rapid response to intraoperative changes
  • 6Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and peer coaching
  • 7Participate in 24/7 on-call availability with structured rotation and off days
  • 8Support a multidisciplinary team including physicians and CRNAs to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements9

  • 1Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • 2Recent experience in Level III trauma facilities or higher within one year
  • 3Proficiency in managing neurosurgical cases
  • 4Ability to work primarily in the OR with optional OB backup responsibilities
  • 5Compliance with malpractice and tail coverage provisions
  • 6Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • 7Eligibility to work in the United States
  • 8Willingness to participate in a 1099 contractual arrangement
  • 9Capacity to handle a 39-week service period with substantial time off
