Own the reliable operation of all process and environmental analyzer systems at Pemex in Deer Park, TX. What You'll Do10
- 1Install, calibrate, and maintain process analyzers including GC, IR, and UV to ensure accurate readings.
- 2Troubleshoot analyzer malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime at Pemex.
- 3Document all maintenance and calibration activities in the CMMS system per established procedures.
- 4Coordinate with operations to schedule analyzer maintenance during planned outages and turnarounds.
- 5Perform validation and certification of environmental analyzers to meet EPA compliance standards.
- 6Respond to call-outs and emergency repairs to restore analyzer functionality within 24 hours.
- 7Maintain spare parts inventory and reorder supplies to ensure readiness for maintenance tasks.
- 8Adhere to all safety protocols and use LOTO procedures when servicing equipment.
- 9Provide technical support to junior technicians during complex troubleshooting and audits.
- 10Manage analyzer shelters and sample conditioning systems to prevent contamination and drift.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of experience as an analyzer technician or in a related instrumentation role.
- 2Journeyman Instrumentation Degree or NCCER Certification preferred.
- 3Experience with HART communication and FOUNDATION Fieldbus protocols.
- 4Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- 5Proficiency in using multimeters, signal generators, and calibrators.
- 6Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Deer Park site.
- 7Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- 8Ability to work 40-hour weeks plus overtime and weekend call-outs as needed.
- 9Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced plant environment.
