What You'll Do10

  • 1Prepare and deliver intervention activities using identified materials for Reading support
  • 2Work with individual students and small groups to provide targeted interventions based on identified needs
  • 3Communicate consistently with classroom teachers on student behavior and academic progress
  • 4Document progress monitoring data to track student growth
  • 5Use data to adjust instructional strategies for each student
  • 6Participate in required intervention meetings and in-service training programs
  • 7Ensure student safety and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment
  • 8Operate and care for classroom equipment used in instructional activities
  • 9Promote positive social relationships among children
  • 10Follow district policies on dress, punctuality, and attendance

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelors degree in education required
  • 2Active teaching license preferred
  • 31+ year experience in a classroom or educational setting preferred
  • 4CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • 5Ability to pass a background check
  • 6Ability to work onsite at Chapelfield Elementary in Columbus, Ohio
  • 7Ability to work a part-time schedule as assigned
