What You'll Do27

  • 1Assist Site Manager with overall management of Engineering Support Services at AASAB and associated locations
  • 2Assume Site Manager responsibilities during absence providing continuous leadership and operational oversight
  • 3Serve as primary coordination point between KBR personnel Government representatives subcontractors and mission partners
  • 4Provide professional mechanical engineering support for facilities utilities infrastructure and installation engineering requirements
  • 5Evaluate existing mechanical systems and recommend repair replacement modification or improvement
  • 6Support HVAC plumbing piping pumps water systems wastewater systems fire protection mechanical equipment and facility infrastructure assessments
  • 7Conduct facility assessments field investigations site surveys inspections and technical evaluations
  • 8Review mechanical drawings specifications calculations scopes of work technical submittals shop drawings and RFIs
  • 9Support planning programming design execution inspection acceptance and closeout of engineering and construction projects
  • 10Assist with preparation of Statements of Work technical requirements cost estimates project packages schedules and engineering documentation
  • 11Coordinate mechanical requirements with civil electrical structural architectural and other engineering disciplines
  • 12Ensure engineering recommendations and project execution comply with UFC Air Force requirements OSHA standards codes and accepted engineering practices
  • 13Monitor Task Order performance and ensure work follows PWS Task Order Management Plan and established performance standards
  • 14Develop implement and maintain TOMP identifying scope workload staffing and Government requirement changes
  • 15Coordinate staffing scheduling training equipment tools vehicles and other resources to accomplish mission requirements
  • 16Train qualify and supervise personnel ensuring competence through education and experience
  • 17Monitor employee performance productivity safety quality and compliance with procedures
  • 18Identify operational technical schedule and performance risks develop mitigation strategies
  • 19Provide technical support during equipment failures utility outages emergency repairs and mission critical situations
  • 20Prepare and support reports briefings schedules staffing updates performance metrics engineering documentation and Task Order deliverables
  • 21Participate in Government meetings project reviews site inspections construction meetings and technical coordination activities
  • 22Maintain effective communication with Government customers provide timely updates on technical issues project status risks and emerging requirements
  • 23Promote strong safety culture ensure proper planning and execution according to KBR Air Force OSHA and site specific safety requirements
  • 24Document engineering findings inspections recommendations project status corrective actions and completed work
  • 25Support personnel accountability workforce planning and daily site administration as needed
  • 26Travel between AASAB and associated sites to support mission and engineering requirements
  • 27Perform additional duties necessary for successful Task Order execution and mission of 386th Air Expeditionary Wing

Requirements12

  • 1U.S. National with active Secret Security Clearance
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from accredited institution
  • 3Professional experience in mechanical facilities construction management installation engineering or related field
  • 4Previous leadership supervisory or site management experience
  • 5Experience supporting facility mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing piping pumps utilities and related infrastructure
  • 6Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications technical standards construction documents
  • 7Knowledge of engineering design construction inspection maintenance and project execution processes
  • 8Preferred PE license or EIT certification
  • 9Previous AFCAP U.S. Air Force Department of Defense or contingency operations experience
  • 10Experience working overseas military installations or deployed locations
  • 11Managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • 12Familiarity with UFC DAFI OSHA requirements and applicable U.S. building and engineering codes
