What You'll Do26

  • 1Assist Site Manager with overall management of Engineering Support Services at AASAB and associated locations
  • 2Assume Site Manager responsibilities during absence providing continuous leadership and operational oversight
  • 3Provide professional mechanical engineering support for facilities utilities infrastructure and installation engineering requirements
  • 4Evaluate existing mechanical systems and recommend repair replacement modification or improvement
  • 5Support HVAC plumbing piping pumps water systems wastewater systems fire protection mechanical equipment and other facility infrastructure
  • 6Conduct facility assessments field investigations site surveys inspections and technical evaluations
  • 7Review mechanical drawings specifications calculations scopes of work technical submittals shop drawings and RFIs
  • 8Support planning programming design execution inspection acceptance and closeout of engineering and construction projects
  • 9Assist with preparation of Statements of Work technical requirements cost estimates project packages schedules and engineering documentation
  • 10Coordinate mechanical requirements with civil electrical structural architectural and other engineering disciplines
  • 11Ensure engineering recommendations and project execution comply with UFC Air Force requirements OSHA standards codes and accepted engineering practices
  • 12Monitor Task Order performance and ensure work follows PWS TOMP and applicable regulations
  • 13Develop implementation and maintenance of TOMP identifying scope workload staffing or Government requirement changes
  • 14Coordinate staffing scheduling training equipment tools vehicles and other resources required to accomplish mission requirements
  • 15Ensure personnel are properly trained qualified and competent through education and experience
  • 16Monitor employee performance productivity safety quality and compliance with established procedures
  • 17Identify operational technical schedule and performance risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • 18Provide technical support during equipment failures utility outages emergency repairs and other mission critical situations
  • 19Prepare and support reports briefings schedules staffing updates performance metrics engineering documentation and other required Task Order deliverables
  • 20Participate in Government meetings project reviews site inspections construction meetings and technical coordination activities
  • 21Maintain effective communication with Government customers and provide timely updates regarding technical issues project status risks and emerging requirements
  • 22Promote a strong safety culture and ensure work is properly planned and executed according to KBR Air Force OSHA and site specific safety requirements
  • 23Maintain accurate documentation of engineering findings inspections recommendations project status corrective actions and completed work
  • 24Support personnel accountability workforce planning and day to day site administration as required
  • 25Travel between AASAB and associated sites as necessary to support mission and engineering requirements
  • 26Perform other duties and responsibilities necessary to support successful Task Order execution and the mission of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing and its mission partners

Requirements5

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Secret Clearance
  • 3Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • 4Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • 5AFCAP experience or deployment to overseas military installations
