Airworthiness Manager Hermeus
Overview
Lead the organization`s airworthiness function owning planning execution of all airworthiness compliance and certification activities enabling essential regulatory compliance and certification under traditional and novel military and civil processes. This is a hands-on role requiring strategic leadership and direct execution.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the organization`s airworthiness function owning both the planning and execution of all airworthiness compliance and certification activities
- 2Develop and execute airworthiness plans for aircraft development programs including certification documentation compliance activities regulatory coordination and certification reviews and approvals
- 3Create and implement airworthiness strategies processes and procedures in compliance with military and civil aviation regulations
- 4Coordinate with regulatory authorities certification agencies and other external entities to obtain and maintain relationships necessary to facilitate timely approvals
- 5Collaborate with engineering manufacturing test and quality assurance teams to ensure activities meet or exceed regulatory standards
- 6Manage documentation and record-keeping processes related to airworthiness compliance
- 7Provide guidance and training to internal teams on airworthiness regulations to ensure compliance is maintained
- 8Conduct airworthiness assessments and audits to identify and address compliance issues
- 9Obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- 10Deliver results across diverse environments while meeting aggressive timelines
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor`s degree in STEM discipline preferably in Engineering Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Systems or related field
- 2Minimum of 6 years of airworthiness experience in aviation aerospace industry
- 3In-depth knowledge of military and civil aviation regulations and requirements MIL-HDBK 516 or 14 CFR Part 25
- 4Experience in airworthiness management preferably in both military and civil aviation environments
- 5Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 7Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- 8Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- 9Master`s degree in STEM discipline preferably in Engineering Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Systems or related field
- 10Proven experience in executing airworthiness projects and obtaining and maintaining airworthiness certifications
- 11Active U.S. Security Clearance
- 12Experience as an FAA Designed Engineering Representative DER
