Overview
You will prep and paint aircraft exteriors using Electrostatic spray systems, working on full aircraft in a climate-controlled hanger. IAC is a global leader in aircraft painting. You will join a team of painters transitioning from house and industrial work, with full paid training in FAA safety and OSHA chemical handling. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepared aircraft surfaces by masking, sanding, and cleaning, following FAA guidelines.
- 2Applied paint using Electrostatic paint systems, achieving smooth, even coats.
- 3Mixed and matched coatings and finishes to exact specifications.
- 4Worked with a team to meet production schedules, coordinating tasks for efficiency.
- 5Maintained a clean, organized work area, following OSHA disposal procedures.
- 6Operated boom lifts and scaffolds to reach all aircraft surfaces.
- 7Learned livery markings application, from design to final paint.
- 8Inspected work for defects, correcting imperfections before final approval.
Requirements7
- 11+ years experience in automotive, house, commercial, or industrial painting.
- 2Experience with rollers, brushes, or spray guns.
- 3Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, or scaffolds at heights.
- 4Detail-oriented and safety-conscious, with a commitment to quality.
- 5Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 7Must pass background check and drug test.
