As an Air Compressor Service Technician, you'll own maintenance and repair of industrial air compressors across Indianapolis, working on piston and rotary screw units from multiple brands. What You'll Do7
- 1Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain piston and rotary screw air compressors, including oil-flooded and oil-free models
- 2Service refrigerated and desiccant air dryers during routine preventative maintenance visits
- 3Install new compressor systems at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and operation
- 4Follow all safety procedures while performing diagnostics and repairs in industrial settings
- 5Resolve customer concerns with clear communication and professional conduct, maintaining positive relationships
- 6Work independently on assigned routes and collaborate with team members on larger projects
- 7Complete service reports and documentation using company-provided laptop or iPad
Requirements7
- 1Valid driver's license with low incident MVR record
- 21+ years of air compressor service experience
- 3Read and interpret technical manuals and parts books
- 4Operate flatbeds, pickup trucks, and pull-behind trailers safely
- 5Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at elevated heights
- 6Manage high-pressure troubleshooting situations with strong problem-solving skills
- 7Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time, with hotel and per diem provided
