Adventure Club Child Care Specialist Part-Time
Overview
Own the safety and engagement of infants and children during structured and unstructured activities for a community center. You will supervise, guide and participate in interactive activities, ensuring a fun, safe environment across indoor and outdoor spaces. This role supports multiple areas of the community center and requires morning availability and a collaborative, outgoing approach.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build engaging activities for children including storytelling, arts crafts, singing and games
- 2Monitor safety and maintain clean, organized Adventure Club areas
- 3Supervise children on playgrounds and indoor spaces ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- 4Document incidents accurately and report to the programs manager
- 5Attend staff meetings and manage time card activity accurately
Requirements5
- 1minimum two years of high school completed or equivalent
- 2experience with children in an organized program setting preferred
- 3capacity to work mornings 8AM to 12:30PM at least three days a week
- 4effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- 5CPR First Aid certifications helpful but not required
