Overview
You will own daily operations of the Kids Club at a premier private country club, supervising up to 20 children during evening shifts. You will plan and lead STEM, arts, and recreational activities while ensuring safety and engagement. The role works with the Youth Director and a small team, alongside other attendants. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and paid sick leave, making it ideal for a student or childcare enthusiast.
What You'll Do8
- 1Supervise children in a safe, engaging environment during after-hours club operations.
- 2Plan and lead age-appropriate STEM, arts, physical, and social activities for groups of 5-20 kids.
- 3Maintain accurate attendance records and report incidents to the Youth Director the same shift.
- 4Encourage positive behavior with coaching and redirection, intervening when needed.
- 5Assist with homework using basic math and reading skills, tailoring support to each child.
- 6Coordinate smooth transitions between activities and supervise off-site field trips as needed.
- 7Prepare and serve snacks, then clean up the activity area to club standards.
- 8Enforce club policies and Colorado Department of Human Services safety rules during every shift.
Requirements8
- 116+ years old; 18+ for added duties like leading field trips.
- 2High school diploma or current enrollment in high school or college.
- 31+ years experience in childcare, camps, schools, or recreation settings.
- 4Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
- 5Basic computer skills for attendance and incident logs.
- 6Able to lift 25 pounds and stand or walk for 4-hour shifts.
- 7Flexible to work Wednesday-Saturday evenings from 5-9 PM.
- 8Must pass background check and employment verification.
