We seek an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead all aspects of the accounts payable function at our Westminster, CO headquarters. The ideal candidate will own daily reporting and process management while driving improvements that protect the company’s credit profile. What You'll Do11
- 1Lead daily AP operations including invoice processing payment runs and vendor communications
- 2Produce accurate daily AP management reports highlighting liabilities aging and key payment metrics
- 3Monitor and manage corporate credit card programs with user onboarding offboarding policy enforcement and monthly reconciliations
- 4Integrate AP processes for newly acquired companies ensuring consistency compliance and smooth onboarding
- 5Act as a key player in annual audit efforts guaranteeing AP documentation controls and reconciliations are audit ready
- 6Lead through influence resolving disputes with field procurement and operations teams and identifying process improvement opportunities
- 7Maintain strong internal controls and support audit compliance activities related to payables
- 8Build and develop AP staff through mentorship to ensure accuracy accountability and high performance
- 9Analyze AP data to explain financial implications and spot anomalies for senior leadership
- 10Develop strategies that align payables practices with broader financial health and credit rating considerations
- 11Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process improvements and integrate new acquisitions seamlessly
Requirements7
- 15+ years building Accounts Payable roles with 2 years in leadership or management
- 2Strong understanding of financial systems controls and reporting requiring ERP experience
- 3Experience with credit agency reporting and its impact on business creditworthiness is a plus
- 4Prior experience managing corporate credit card programs is highly preferred
- 5Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with daily reporting and data analytics
- 6US pay range $99,000—$130,000 USD
- 7Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field required with MBA preferred
