Accounting Manager Tempo US-EcoLogic
Overview
Lead day-to-day accounting operations at Tempo US-EcoLogic overseeing staff and ensuring accurate month quarter and annual close processes. Supervise accounting personnel review transactions and reconcile balances while promoting continuous process improvement. Reports directly to the Controller or Vice President of Finance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll support and cash receipts
- 2Review and approve recurring journal entries accruals allocations and supporting documentation
- 3Monitor balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy
- 4Coordinate and review state sales tax filings to ensure compliance with regulations
- 5Manage the monthly close calendar and coordinate close activities among accounting staff
- 6Identify and resolve close issues proactively to ensure timely completion
- 7Perform account fluctuation and trend analysis to support monthly financial reporting
- 8Prepare budget versus actual analyses and explain significant variances
- 9Deliver customized financial reports and analyses for ad hoc requests
- 10Participate in cross-functional initiatives to achieve company goals
- 11Develop staff through coaching and cross-training while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
Requirements10
- 1Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- 2Working knowledge of ERP and general ledger systems
- 3Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- 4Advanced MS Excel skills including lookups pivots and formulas
- 5Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 65–7 years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and financial reporting
- 73+ years supervisory experience
- 8Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English
- 9Demonstrated success supervising coaching and developing accounting staff
- 10Adaptable to changing environments and proven track record of meeting schedules and deadlines
Salary Insight
$110 - $120k per year
