What You'll Do8

  • 1Promote urology products to meet and exceed sales goals in community/private practices and hospitals/health systems.
  • 2Identify customer needs in training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement areas, then address them with appropriate AbbVie resources.
  • 3Deliver education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and hospital personnel, using anatomical terminology to train injection paradigms.
  • 4Use AbbVie sales and data resources to enhance productivity and growth, implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
  • 5Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications and execute group trainings within hospital accounts.
  • 6Build and maintain relationships with departments like neurology, pain medicine, and urology to drive product adoption.
  • 7Manage complex sales processes, learning procedural and clinical information quickly to communicate effectively.
  • 8Travel to cover territory and attend overnight training events and sales meetings.

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field, or 5+ years of technical experience with 3+ years in sales.
  • 2High school diploma/GED required if no degree.
  • 3Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products preferred.
  • 4Ability to lift/pull 25-100 lb. training models and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
  • 5Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • 6History of strong sales performance in clinical/technical/consultative roles.
  • 7Proficiency in managing complex sales and learning anatomical information quickly.
  • 8Satisfy all healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and immunizations.
