ABA Therapist, Autism & Behavioral Health in NYC
Overview
ABA Therapist delivers direct 1:1 therapy to children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in home, school, and community settings. This role executes behavior intervention plans crafted by a BCBA, tracks client progress, and partners with families. Joining a multidisciplinary team at CHOICE ABA AUTISM SERVICES NJ LLC, you shape daily quality of life through data-driven care.
What You'll Do7
- 1Implement individualized care plans designed by the BCBA for behavior management and skill acquisition.
- 2Provide direct support to clients in home, school, and community environments.
- 3Educate clients and families on behavioral strategies to promote positive behaviors.
- 4Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes for each client.
- 5Collaborate with special education and behavioral health professionals to enhance service delivery.
- 6Monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on session data.
- 7Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.
Requirements5
- 1Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or developmental disabilities preferred.
- 2Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
- 4Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- 5Previous experience in special education or related fields is a plus.
