A320 Ground Simulator Instructor, FAA Training Orlando
Overview
Deliver initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent training for Allegiant Air pilots on the A320 series. You own the classroom and simulator experience, ensuring pilots meet FAA standards and Allegiant's approved training program. Work alongside the A320 Fleet Training Captain to resolve training issues and shape course design. This role offers direct impact on pilot proficiency and safety, with a clear path to maintain PIC qualification.
What You'll Do8
- 1Facilitate initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent training covering A320 systems, procedures, and FAA regulations
- 2Conduct classroom and simulator sessions, including lesson planning and setup for flight training devices
- 3Prepare pilots for flight evaluations by delivering targeted feedback and coaching
- 4Maintain training records for all activities, participants, and results
- 5Assist in course design and development for the A320 program
- 6Collaborate with the A320 Fleet Training Captain to identify and resolve training gaps
- 7Model customer service standards in all interactions and leadership duties
- 8Support special projects for department managers as assigned
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED, with 1+ year as instructor/check pilot or PIC/SIC in A320 series
- 2Valid Unexpired Passport and Driver's License
- 3Must pass a Criminal Background Check and be authorized to work in the US
- 4ATP with A320 Type Rating preferred
- 5Complete and retain Allegiant's PIC Training/Qualification on A320
- 6Served at least one year as instructor/check pilot or PIC/SIC in same group aircraft
