3rd OPS Operator, Electronics Manufacturing & Post Production
Overview
Own post-production processing in a PCBA manufacturing environment at scale. You will perform depaneling press-fit mechanical assembly and hardware installation finishing steps before final inspection and shipment. You will follow work instructions and use hand tools fixtures and production equipment with careful attention to detail. This role operates on the second shift onsite in San Jose and supports multiple post-production tasks to ensure quality and timely output.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build depaneling steps for PCBA assemblies using approved tools and fixtures
- 2Design and perform press-fit operations according to work instructions drawings and process requirements
- 3Assemble hardware brackets shields fasteners labels and other customer-specific components
- 4Inspect boards for workmanship issues during post-production operations
- 5Follow travelers drawings work instructions and quality requirements while using hand tools torque tools presses fixtures and basic equipment
- 6Handle PCBAs with proper ESD practices at all times
- 7Identify report and escalate defects missing parts damaged boards or process concerns
- 8Maintain accurate production counts and scan work orders through system steps
- 9Keep work area clean organized and compliant with 5S and safety requirements
- 10Support other post-production areas including touch-up final assembly prep rework masking removal cleaning or packout preparation
Requirements10
- 1Previous experience in electronics manufacturing PCBA assembly mechanical assembly or related production work
- 2Ability to read and follow written work instructions travelers and assembly drawings
- 3Comfort using basic hand tools presses fixtures and measuring tools
- 4Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship defects
- 5Ability to work with small parts and delicate electronic assemblies
- 6Basic computer skills for scanning labor tracking and production transactions
- 7Dependable quality-focused and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 8Ability to follow ESD safety and quality procedures
- 9Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- 10Experience with depaneling press-fit equipment mechanical assembly or final assembly operations preferred
Salary Insight
$48 - $52k per year
