Youth Peer Support Specialist Trainer PCG
Overview
Public Consulting Group seeks a Trainer and Coach for Youth Peer Support to lead training and coaching for Youth Peer Support Specialists and supervisors in Maine. This role involves delivering the Peer Connect Model and supporting the local provider community.
What You'll Do11
- 1Participate in all required training and coaching pertaining to Peer Connect provided by Youth MOVE National and other identified training
- 2Complete and maintain Peer Connect certification while attending ongoing training to meet retention requirements
- 3Facilitate Peer Connect training Co-Reflections and professional development sessions for specialists and supervisors
- 4Respond to technical assistance requests promptly and communicate regularly with organizations and implementation teams
- 5Maintain accurate records of participants and their progress toward certification completion
- 6Apply adult learning principles to engage diverse learners effectively
- 7Network with state and organizational leaders to foster partnership interest
- 8Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using established measures and utilization of evaluation data
- 9Use resources from Youth MOVE National to provide coaching support
- 10Ensure confidentiality and uphold youth family rights per agency policies
- 11Perform additional related duties as assigned
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in System of Care environments
- 3Relevant lived experience in Family Peer Support or Youth Peer Support
- 4Certification in Peer Connect model
- 5High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools like Adobe, Teams, and Zoom

$52 - $62k per year
