Yard Coordinator, Portable Sanitation & Logistics
Overview
You will own the yard at Port A Bowl, preparing, cleaning, and maintaining portable sanitation units and company trucks to keep delivery operations running. You will coordinate with the logistics team to load and unload units, stock trucks, and manage inventory. Your work ensures every unit meets safety and hygiene standards before it leaves the yard. This role suits a hands-on problem solver who thrives on outdoor work and physical challenges.
What You'll Do7
- 1Clean and disinfect portable sanitation units, holding tanks, and affected areas using pressure washers and approved chemicals.
- 2Inspect every returned unit for damage and working condition, reporting issues to the maintenance team.
- 3Load and unload units onto delivery trucks, securing them for transport per safety protocols.
- 4Stock delivery trucks with supplies, chemicals, and spare parts, and track inventory using spreadsheets.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized, and secure yard, ensuring no debris or hazards remain.
- 6Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and proper labeling of chemicals and units.
- 7Participate in ride-alongs to understand delivery routes and customer expectations.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in a related field such as sanitation, logistics, or general labor preferred.
- 2Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- 3Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, from heat to cold and rain.
- 4Physical stamina to stretch, pull, climb, and crawl to access hard-to-reach areas of units.
- 5Tolerance for strong odors associated with portable sanitation units.
- 6Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a busy yard.
- 7Problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot equipment issues and workflow bottlenecks.
- 8Valid driver's license and clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
