Overview
You will own the yard operations for portable sanitation equipment at United Rentals' Reliable Onsite Services division, ensuring every unit is rent-ready. You will inspect, wash, repair, and load units, using forklifts and hand tools. You will maintain inventory accuracy and uphold safety standards. What You'll Do8
- 1Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, and pass a safety audit.
- 2Inspect portable sanitation equipment for damage, and clean, repair, or store units.
- 3Load and unload units manually or with a forklift, ensuring accurate truck loading.
- 4Use drills and rivet tools to perform minor repairs on equipment.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized yard, shop, and facility, with excellent housekeeping.
- 6Inventory supplies and communicate accurate counts to Dispatch.
- 7Quality-check all units and verify rent-ready status before loading.
- 8Keep a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalency.
- 2A valid driver's license.
- 3Diligent attention to safety.
- 4General knowledge of yard equipment and loading/unloading trucks.
- 5Superior customer service and a positive attitude.
- 6Excellent verbal communication skills.
- 7Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- 8Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.
