Overview

Coordinate workforce development initiatives supporting recruiting onboarding training certification compliance and employee retention across industrial construction maintenance and turnaround projects. Serve as liaison between Operations Human Resources Training Craft Supervision Clients and external partners to ensure qualified job ready workforce.

  • 1Build workforce planning and recruitment strategies to meet project staffing needs
  • 2Partner with Recruiting and Operations to identify current and future workforce requirements
  • 3Develop relationships with technical colleges workforce commissions trade schools apprenticeship programs military transition programs and community organizations
  • 4Participate in career fairs hiring events workforce development meetings and industry outreach initiatives
  • 5Assist with recruiting strategies to attract skilled craft professionals
  • 6Coordinate employee training schedules and certification requirements managing NCCER assessments and credential tracking
  • 7Coordinate new hire orientation and craft specific onboarding processes
  • 8Assist in developing employee career pathways and progression plans
  • 9Coordinate leadership development programs for foremen and supervisors
  • 10Schedule safety technical and compliance training
  • 11Monitor employee certifications and qualifications including NCCER OSHA TWIC First Aid CPR Respiratory Protection client specific certifications
  • 12Track certification expirations and coordinate renewals
  • 13Maintain workforce compliance records within company systems
  • 14Prepare workforce compliance reports for management and clients
  • 15Ensure documentation meets client and regulatory requirements
  • 16Support apprenticeship and mentoring programs
  • 17Assist employees with career development opportunities
  • 18Coordinate craft progression evaluations and skill assessments
  • 19Identify training gaps and recommend development plans
  • 20Promote continuous learning and workforce engagement
  • 21Maintain workforce databases and training records
  • 22Prepare weekly and monthly workforce development reports
  • 23Track KPIs including training completion certification compliance workforce readiness apprentice participation employee retention internal promotions
  • 24Develop executive dashboards and workforce analytics for leadership
  • 25Coordinate workforce initiatives with clients
  • 26Support community outreach and workforce development partnerships
  • 27Represent the company at workforce development events
  • 28Maintain relationships with local workforce agencies and educational institutions

Requirements13

  • 1Associates or Bachelor degrees in Human Resources Business Administration Workforce Development Education Industrial Technology or related field preferred
  • 2High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3Minimum 3–5 years experience in workforce development recruiting training coordination HR or industrial operations
  • 4Experience in industrial construction maintenance petrochemical refining chemical manufacturing or oil and gas preferred
  • 5Knowledge of industrial craft trades and workforce planning
  • 6Familiarity with NCCER training and certification programs
  • 7Understanding of apprenticeship and workforce development initiatives
  • 8Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • 9Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • 10Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint
  • 11Experience using HRIS LMS ATS or workforce management systems
  • 12Ability to analyze workforce data and prepare reports
  • 13Strong attention to detail and time management skills
