What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct thorough annual women's health exams with a strong focus on high-end service and an exceptional patient experience
- 2Manage complex gynecological conditions using evidence-based medical management and specialty collaboration
- 3Perform skilled contraception insertions and removals including IUDs and implants while overseeing medication management
- 4Direct patient inquiries through telephone and Athena patient portal messages ensuring comprehensive communication
- 5Maintain precise documentation in Athena EMR for all patient interactions
- 6Lead clinical workflow by handling prior authorizations prescription refills and administrative tasks
- 7Mentor and lead a team of two Medical Assistants to ensure seamless clinic operations
- 8Drive continuous improvement in patient care processes and clinic efficiency
- 9Collaborate with specialists to provide integrated care for patients
- 10Ensure compliance with licensing requirements across multiple states
- 11Foster a warm service-oriented environment that aligns with boutique clinic values
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
- 2Current unrestricted APRN and Rx license in Maryland
- 3Active licensure in Virginia and Washington DC preferred
- 4Hands-on experience with Athena EMR system
- 5Board certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC)
- 6Valid DEA registration and BLS CPR certification
- 73-5 years of experience working in high-end healthcare settings
- 8Strong communication skills with proven ability to build patient relationships
- 9Ability to work full-time without weekends or call availability
- 10Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
