Overview
Own the fabrication of custom stainless steel and mild steel equipment from blueprint to finished welds at scale. Join a growing team building fertilizer equipment, conveyors, tanks, mixers, bucket elevators, and more for North American customers. This role emphasizes non repetitive, project-based welding in a clean safety-focused shop. You’ll collaborate with engineers and fabricators to deliver complete systems from start to finish.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build stainless steel and mild steel weldments according to blueprints and weld symbols
- 2Fabricate tanks, bins, conveyors, and assemblies for custom industrial equipment
- 3Read and interpret blueprints fabrication drawings and weld symbols
- 4Weld sheet metal plate pipe and structural components in flat vertical and overhead positions
- 5Fit position assemble and weld custom fabrications
- 6Perform quality inspections on completed welds to ensure compliance
- 7Maintain safe organized work area and support material handling and fabrication tasks
- 8Collaborate with team to troubleshoot fabrication challenges on custom projects
- 9Document work and ensure traceability of welds and components
- 10Adhere to company safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements10
- 1Must be a skilled MIG welder with stainless steel and mild steel experience
- 2Ability to read blueprints fabrication drawings and weld symbols
- 3Experience welding in flat vertical and overhead positions
- 4Familiarity with fabricating tanks bins conveyors and assemblies
- 5Capability to perform quality inspections on welds
- 6Comfort with a fully onsite role in Chaska MN
- 7Willingness to work in a non-repetitive, project-based environment
