Welder (Second Class) - Fluxcore, MIG, TIG
Overview
You will own welding assignments from setup to completion in a production environment. Pass the 3G open root plate test on 1 inch thick material with double bevel. Work rotating shifts, 7am - 3:30pm and 3:30pm - 12am, every two weeks. Earn up to $25/hour based on experience and test results.
What You'll Do7
- 1Set up and complete Fluxcore, MIG, TIG, and Submerged Arc welding assignments
- 2Pass the 3G open root plate test on 1 inch thick material with double bevel
- 3Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding specifications
- 4Perform back gouging on the second side of the weld joint
- 5Operate MIG Welder, TIG Welder, Stick Welder, and Flux-Cored Arc Welder
- 6Maintain production quality and meet daily weld quotas
- 7Work rotating shifts, 7am - 3:30pm and 3:30pm - 12am, every two weeks
Requirements6
- 11+ years of welding experience in a production setting
- 2Pass the 3G open root plate test with 1 inch thick material
- 3Proficiency in Fluxcore, MIG, and TIG welding techniques
- 4Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- 5Experience with Submerged Arc Welding preferred
- 6Flexibility to work rotating shifts every two weeks
