What You'll Do11
- 1Perform fit-up and welding according to blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications
- 2Weld primarily A572 steel with additional work involving A514 and other materials
- 3Apply proper preheat and controlled post-weld cooling procedures when working with A514
- 4Prepare materials and welds to inspection standards
- 5Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
- 6Identify drawing or part discrepancies and communicate required corrections/redlines
- 7Handle, retrieve, and track production parts using internal scanning and work-order systems
- 8Work with large, rolled, forged, and heavy structural components
- 9Coordinate with leads, inspectors, and production teams to meet daily priorities
- 10Maintain a clean work area and follow all site safety, fire-watch, and PPE requirements
- 11Perform occasional outdoor work as production needs require
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Professional welding experience in production fabrication structural or heavy-equipment environment
- 3Strong experience with A572 steel
- 4Flux-core welding experience required
- 5Stainless steel (303/304/316), aluminum, or bronze experience is a plus
