Overview
Lead wine service and expo operations for Anthony’s New York Italian on weekends. Own tableside wine service and train servers. Ensure high standards of presentation and quality. Drive sales through expertise and hospitality.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist guests with wine selections and food pairings
- 2Recommend bottles and wines by the glass
- 3Provide professional tableside wine service
- 4Help servers with wine knowledge and pairing recommendations
- 5Train FOH staff on featured wines and proper wine service
- 6Increase wine and bottle sales
- 7Work the food expo/pass during peak service
- 8Check every plate for presentation temperature accuracy and quality
- 9Coordinate communication between kitchen and service team
- 10Support the General Manager during busy weekend shifts
- 11Ensure every guest receives exceptional service
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong wine knowledge
- 3Upscale or fine-dining restaurant experience
- 4Knowledge of Italian wines strongly preferred
- 5Sommelier certification is a plus but not required
- 6Professional appearance and communication skills
- 7Ability to stay organized and calm during high-volume service
- 8Availability Friday Saturday and Sunday
