- 1Oversee daily irrigation water delivery operations across the District
- 2Coordinate surface water and groundwater usage based on system demand
- 3Monitor flows levels and system performance making real-time adjustments
- 4Approve and manage water delivery schedules
- 5Ensure scheduling aligns with system capacity and operational priorities
- 6Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor for infrastructure repairs
- 7Monitor canals pipelines wells and control structures for proper operation
- 8Identify operational issues affecting flow pressure or delivery efficiency
- 9Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor for infrastructure repairs
- 10Supervise Zanjeros and Watermaster staff assign work monitor performance
- 11Provide training and support for water department staff promote teamwork
- 12Respond to customer concerns resolve water delivery issues professionally
- 13Enforce safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements
- 14Promote proper lifting techniques and ergonomic practices
- 15Maintain compliance with water regulations
- 16Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and water conservation
- 17Support implementation of improved processes tools and technologies
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 5 years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Minimum 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
- 3Education high school diploma or equivalent
- 4Experience with canal systems pipelines wells and water control structures
- 5Valid Arizona driver’s license meeting district standards
Salary Insight
$65 - $95k per year
