Warehouse Worker, Plumbing Supplies & Shipping Operations
Overview
Warehouse role owning shipping, receiving, and inventory support at a plumbing supply distributor. You will label, box, palletize, and prepare orders for shipment at scale, while assisting with inbound goods and stocking. Work with a small team in a clean, on site environment Monday through Friday. This position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and reliability in a fast, manual workflow.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and label, box, and palletize products for shipment in a timely manner
- 2Design and complete shipping paperwork including BOLs to ensure correct quantities
- 3Cross reference pick sheets with products prior to loading to confirm accuracy
- 4Inspect trailers before loading and unloading to ensure safety and readiness
- 5Load and unload trailers using pallet jacks and forklifts following safety procedures
- 6Assist with unloading incoming trucks and verify received products against documentation
- 7Assist with putaway and stocking of inventory in designated warehouse locations
- 8Use basic computer skills to support shipping, receiving, and documentation tasks
- 9Communicate operational issues or safety concerns to leadership promptly
- 10Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse procedures
Requirements10
- 1Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment
- 2Ability to correctly label, package, and palletize products for shipment
- 3Proficiency using pallet jacks for material handling
- 4Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift safely
- 5Basic computer skills to support shipping and documentation tasks
- 6Ability to read and work from pick sheets and shipping documents including BOLs
- 7Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance as needed
- 8Ability to bend, stack, and move boxes while building pallets
- 9Strong attention to detail to ensure correct products and quantities are shipped
- 10Reliable with a consistent Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule
