What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects.
- 2Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets.
- 3Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
- 4Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping.
- 5Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed.
- 6Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks.
- 7Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders.
- 8Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices.
- 9Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues.
- 10Execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
- 23 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
- 36 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
- 4Ability to lift up to 75 pounds following safety guidelines.
- 5Comfortable working on your feet for most of the shift.
- 6Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts.
- 7Willingness to work in varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions.
- 8Exposure to constant or intermittent noises and moving or shaking objects and equipment.
