Warehouse Forklift Operator, Building Materials & Onsite Roles
Overview
Own day-to-day warehouse and forklift operations at a busy building materials distribution site. Scale up accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory checks, and loading for delivery or job sites. What You'll Do10
- 1Build pallets and shelves for delivery or receipt into the warehouse
- 2Load and unload trucks and check-in material to ensure order accuracy
- 3Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders
- 4Operate forklift safely with required safety equipment
- 5Assist in counting physical inventory and maintain orderly warehouse
- 6Drive heavy-duty trucks and operate warehouse and truck-mounted forklifts
- 7Adhere to DOT regulations including vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service
- 8Organize warehouse for orderliness at all times
- 9Load material onto trucks and offload at job sites while verifying orders
- 10Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds
- 2Ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment and support order fulfillment
- 3Operate forklift in a safe manner with proper safety equipment
- 4Adhere to DOT regulations including vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service
- 5Demonstrated reliability and teamwork in a warehouse setting
- 6Willingness to drive heavy-duty/commercial trucks as needed
- 7Basic math and inventory counting skills
- 8On-site full-time availability in New Castle area
- 9Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures
- 10Experience with loading/unloading and material handling in a distribution environment
