Warehouse Associate, on site in Raleigh NC
Overview
Own daily warehouse operations with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail at a mid sized industrial facility. You will work independently and as part of a team to ship, receive, and inventory control items. This role relies on database software to perform tasks and requires Forklift certification.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and pack orders for shipment to ensure 100% accuracy
- 2Ship and schedule truck shipments to meet timelines
- 3Receive and post purchase orders and store inventory in correct locations
- 4Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to adjust inventory
- 5Maintain clean work areas by sweeping floors, emptying trash, and organizing shelves
- 6Wipe down and straighten inventory shelves and break down cardboard boxes
Requirements5
- 1Must have forklift certification and ability to obtain/maintain current certification
- 2Clean driving record
- 3Good communication skills and attention to detail
- 4Experience handling inventory and using basic database software
- 5Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
