Warehouse Associate, Mechanical Assembly & Inventory Control
Overview
You will assemble specialized leak-detection equipment such as Test Balls, LeakVue, and AquaSnoop in a hands-on warehouse role supporting field technicians. You will handle shipping, receiving, and inventory control while building equipment with hand tools and power tools. This role combines mechanical assembly, warehouse operations, and computer-based inventory tracking. You will work directly with the team that prepares critical tools used in non-destructive leak detection, with training provided on proprietary equipment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assemble equipment components including hoses, Test Balls, LeakVue, and AquaSnoop using hand tools and basic power tools.
- 2Test completed assemblies, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and adjust equipment to ensure proper function before field use.
- 3Receive and inspect incoming materials, then pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to field locations.
- 4Organize warehouse materials, track parts used in builds, and maintain an orderly work area.
- 5Enter purchase orders, shipping data, and inventory records into company computer systems.
- 6Perform inventory counts and replenish stock by ordering materials and supplies as needed.
- 7Post completed assemblies in the system and track materials for each build.
- 8Learn and use company software to manage inventory and order processes.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or similar hands-on work.
- 2Mechanical aptitude with comfort using hand tools and power tools.
- 3Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software for inventory and ordering.
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data entry and inventory tracking.
- 5Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and procedures.
- 6Capability to troubleshoot and adjust mechanical systems.
- 7Dependable work ethic and good communication skills.
- 8Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials and equipment.
Salary Insight
$40 - $46k per year
