Warehouse Associate - Distribution & Inventory Support
Overview
You will own the full cycle of warehouse operations at SanMar's Irving, TX distribution center, moving 1,000+ units daily. You will join a 25-person team and report directly to the shift lead. What You'll Do7
- 1Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners and voice-picking technology, hitting 99% accuracy targets.
- 2Operate a stand-up forklift to move pallets and replenish pick faces, completing 40+ moves per shift.
- 3Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and label accuracy, resolving discrepancies with the WMS.
- 4Load and unload trailers using dock equipment, maintaining a 60-second average unload time per pallet.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sweeping, sorting, and disposing of packaging waste.
- 6Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity goals, adjusting to real-time order flow.
- 7Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to the floor supervisor within 15 minutes of discovery.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21-3 years of warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- 31-3 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift (preferred).
- 4Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts.
- 5Proficiency with RF scanners and basic WMS navigation.
- 6Ability to read and identify SKU numbers, sizes, and color codes.
- 7Flexibility to work either the 9am-6:30pm or 1pm-9:30pm shift.
- 8Reliable transportation to Northview Drive, Irving, TX.
