What You'll Do10
- 1Lead Management Liability product portfolio by establishing underwriting strategy risk appetite pricing and coverage direction driving profitable growth market relevance and underwriting excellence
- 2Monitor industry trends market conditions and regulatory changes recommend policy and pricing adjustments develop underwriting adjustments
- 3Set individual risk concentration risk and aggregate limit strategies manage underwriter authority deliver technical training
- 4Build and maintain underwriting tools for risk evaluation including applications guidelines risk scoring and data utilization
- 5Conduct market research and risk analysis identify expansion opportunities customer segments pain points opportunities and trends
- 6Define and prioritize product and underwriting initiatives based on customer value business impact technical feasibility and risk appetite implement strategies for risk selection assessment and robust underwriting controls
- 7Work closely with marketing distribution development claims actuarial and underwriting operations teams to deliver innovative competitive and compliant insurance solutions
- 8Partner with channel leads manage product launches go-to-market activities positioning messaging pricing distribution and authority management measure and monitor performance profitability and customer satisfaction
- 9Solicit feedback from customers underwriters stakeholders and users continuously improve product quality underwriting pricing and user experience adjust policy language and practices
- 10Identify training topics wet training agendas deliver technical and product training develop best practices for knowledge sharing in underwriting operations
Requirements11
- 110+ years experience product management underwriting Management Liability products D&O EPL Crime Fiduciary
- 2Bachelor’s degree business engineering computer science related field MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3Strong commercial knowledge of customer segments competitors and trends for Management Liability
- 4Exceptional skills product visioning strategy formulation roadmap development prioritization and execution
- 5Highly analytical data-driven problem solving abilities
- 6Communication and presentation skills influence senior executives internal stakeholders and key customers brokers
- 7Experience with Lloyd’s of London CPCU or RPLU designation a plus
- 8Hybrid work arrangement two days in office weekly
- 9Experience with AWS Spark Airflow and Kubernetes
- 10Knowledge of CPC Card BCBA AWS Certified
- 115+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
