What You'll Do22
- 1Develop and maintain a compelling multi-year People Systems roadmap aligned to Workday HCM strategy and corporate AI agenda
- 2Own strategic response to platform milestones including Workday Financial Data Model redesign and People Data Lake deployment
- 3Lead investment prioritization across People portfolio focusing on innovation compliance and operational continuity
- 4Drive rationalization of multi-payroll landscape with 30+ global systems
- 5AI & Innovation Lead identification and delivery of AI use cases across workforce analytics talent acquisition and attrition modeling
- 6Embed AI capability within core People platforms governing through intake and risk frameworks
- 7Serve as thought partner to HR leadership on AI reshaping operating models
- 8Partner with Databricks Professional Services on People Data Lake buildout ensuring structured data readiness
- 9Present People technology strategy to CPO and C-suite forums with clear business narratives
- 10Drive consensus across competing HR priorities with directness and transparency
- 11Represent Enterprise Technology in HR governance forums and People AI Council meetings
- 12Develop and scale high-performing global team of People Systems professionals
- 13Operate within bimodal organizational model maintaining delivery capability while building innovation capacity
- 14Foster culture of accountability innovation and continuous learning within team
- 15Ensure data privacy security and compliance across People systems including GDPR and regional requirements
- 16Oversee program delivery across all People technology initiatives ensuring governance risk management
- 17Manage vendor relationships including Workday UKG JDE GEMS Humanly and 30+ payroll providers
- 18Define and achieve SLAs and KPIs across People technology platforms
- 19Own People Systems technology budget ensuring disciplined financial governance
- 20Drive cost optimization through vendor consolidation and payroll platform rationalization
- 21Manage complex multi-vendor HR technology ecosystems globally
- 22Influence CHRO-level stakeholders with credibility and genuine understanding of People strategy
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in IT Computer Science Business or related field with Master's preferred
- 215+ years progressive technology leadership experience with minimum 5 years senior HR technology leadership at global enterprise scale
- 3Deep experience with Workday HCM including Core HR Recruiting Talent Payroll Absence Learning modules
- 4Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder HR technology transformation programs globally
- 5Demonstrated ability to influence CHRO-level and C-suite stakeholders
- 6Experience driving AI adoption in HR functions including workforce analytics skills mapping and talent acquisition intelligence
- 7Strong understanding of full employee lifecycle processes from hire-to-retire
- 8Knowledge of HR data privacy requirements including GDPR and regional data residency obligations
- 9Strong financial acumen managing multi-million dollar HR technology budgets
- 10Experience with global payroll systems and vendor management
- 11Ability to speak HR leadership language and understand People strategy
