Overview
Vice President Technical Operations leads data center operations across the Americas portfolio. Responsible for developing and scaling critical programs that drive consistency governance productivity and efficiency. Champion STACK operations principles of Safety Team Availability Communication and Knowledge.
What You'll Do14
- 1Lead and coach Technical Operations team as STACK center of excellence for operations technologies and critical workforce development
- 2Collaborate with Operations leadership to enhance Technical Operations program
- 3Act as culture carrier championing safety transparency and candor
- 4Drive definition development and implementation of maintenance quality control and safety process changes
- 5Work with leadership on facility maintenance program and equipment/system operation
- 6Demonstrate technical knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems including power distribution emergency power UPS systems Building Management Systems BMS HVAC and fire alarm suppression systems
- 7Develop and implement new maintenance standards to support evolving operational needs
- 8Ensure MOPs SOPs and EOPs are created reviewed and audited throughout maintenance process
- 9Lead quality assessment program documenting compliance with data center critical infrastructure policies
- 10Partner with Learning Development and SMEs to deliver technical training for critical operations team
- 11Lead event management and root cause analysis processes
- 12Create support documentation for critical operations tools and processes
- 13Champion people process and technology improvements to increase effectiveness
- 14Gather share best practices and act as change agent
Requirements6
- 110 years progressive leadership in data center critical operations
- 2Experience leading data center operations programs with large hyperscale operations
- 3Bachelor’s Degree required
- 4Master’s degree desired but not required
- 5Proven success building organizations during rapid growth
- 6Ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead through collaboration
Salary Insight
$229 - $264k per year
