What You'll Do9
- 1Strategic Leadership & Department Oversight: Lead development and execution of multi-year grants strategy aligned with organizational plan and mission.
- 2Team Development: Coach and develop Grants Coordinator Grants Manager Grant Project Director Grant Compliance Manager fostering collaboration and accountability.
- 3Grant Development Pipeline: Scout pre-qualify and evaluate public private funding opportunities creating robust grant pipeline and master calendar.
- 4Proposal Management: Oversee creation submission of high-quality grant proposals letters of inquiry concept papers and supporting materials.
- 5Compliance Management: Lead pre- and post-award grants management ensuring standardized procedures and accurate financial reporting.
- 6Technology Utilization: Leverage funding databases AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of funding research.
- 7Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with funders partners and stakeholders to position BGCCF as a trusted grantee.
- 8Financial Integration: Partner with Finance to ensure grant activity reflects accurately in general ledger operating budget and annual operating plan.
- 9Impact Analysis: Use data dashboards outcome reports and qualitative stories to demonstrate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management Public Administration Business Administration Accounting/Finance Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2Minimum 7–10 years progressive grants management experience including successful acquisition growth and management of significant government private grants.
- 3At least 5 years leadership experience overseeing grant contract development teams including supervision of staff and cross-functional project leadership.
- 4Demonstrated experience managing complex grant portfolios including federal state and local government funding foundations and corporate funders.
- 5Advanced grant writing proposal development skills with ability to produce competitive applications.
- 6Solid understanding of grant budgeting nonprofit fund accounting financial compliance GAAP and federal regulations preferred.
Salary Insight
$90 - $105k per year
