Veterinary Receptionist, Front Desk & Client Care
Overview
You will own client experience and front desk operations at Sierra Ranch Veterinary Clinic, a full-service hospital and rehab center. Field calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow across departments. Work alongside veterinarians, technicians, and rehab specialists. What You'll Do8
- 1Answer multi-line phone systems and route calls to appropriate staff
- 2Schedule appointments for general practice and rehab sessions using practice management software
- 3Maintain accurate medical records and update patient histories
- 4Communicate treatment plans and medication instructions to clients with clarity
- 5Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- 6Process prescription refills and flea/heartworm preventatives orders
- 7Manage client check-in and checkout, including billing and payments
- 8Coordinate surgical drop-offs and pick-ups with the medical team
Requirements7
- 11+ year of veterinary front desk or client service experience
- 2Working knowledge of flea and heartworm preventatives and common veterinary medications
- 3Ability to read and interpret medical terminology and pharmacology
- 4Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and scheduling software
- 5Strong customer service skills in a clinical setting
- 6Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- 7Flexible schedule including day shifts (10am-7pm) and Saturday shifts (8am-2pm)
