What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and treat various medical conditions across multiple species using veterinary terminology and clinical ethical guidelines
- 2Perform surgeries including general anesthesia dental work and oncology interventions
- 3Administer animal restraint handle animals safely using aseptic techniques and conduct catheterization and lab diagnostics
- 4Provide emergency medicine and critical care for hospitalized patients
- 5Communicate effectively with pet owners about diagnoses treatment plans and preventive care while demonstrating animal husbandry knowledge
- 6Maintain accurate medical records follow internal medicine protocols and adhere to professional ethics
- 7Support team with laboratory work anesthesia management and advanced procedures involving animal physiology
Requirements8
- 1Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM degree from an accredited institution with valid licensing or eligibility to practice veterinary medicine
- 2Proven experience with proficiency in animal handling restraint and surgical techniques
- 3Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology internal medicine surgery dentistry cardiology oncology and emergency medicine
- 4Experience with companion animals equine experience is a plus
- 5Ability to perform general anesthesia safely across species while maintaining aseptic standards
- 6Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to pet care education
- 7Familiarity with laboratory diagnostics and preference for candidates with relevant lab experience
- 8Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning in veterinary medicine
