Overview
Join Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in Miami. What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engines transmissions steering suspension brakes HVAC and electrical systems
- 2Perform vehicle inspections diagnostics and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures
- 3Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to Kia and dealership policies
- 4Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality with appropriate diagnostic tools
- 5Communicate effectively with service advisors and shop foremen to ensure positive customer experiences
- 6Maintain a safe organized and efficient work environment following dealership safety procedures
Requirements9
- 1Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service
- 2Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- 3Prior experience in mechanical or technical fields
- 4Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- 5Ability to work in fast-paced dealership service environment
- 6Willingness to complete background check and drug screening
- 7Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience
- 8Familiarity with diagnostic tools and hand tools
- 9ASE certifications or technical training preferred
