Vendor Management Specialist, Procurement & Contracts
Overview
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions seeks a Vendor Management Specialist to own contract management from RFX to execution within the Corporate Finance team in Plymouth MN. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to draft, negotiate, and finalize MSAs, SOWs, exhibits, and addendums. You will manage sourcing, price analysis, and market research while maintaining procurement data in various tools and dashboards. The role offers growth within a supportive, values-driven environment and exposure to multiple procurement systems and TPRM processes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and negotiate vendor contracts across MSAs, SOWs, exhibits and addendums to meet business needs
- 2Design procurement processes from RFP to contract award and ensure approvals per policy
- 3Own vendor sourcing, price analysis, and market research to drive favorable terms
- 4Drive dashboard reporting and analytics by pulling data from multiple procurement systems
- 5Coordinate Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) intake requests and maintain risk documentation
- 6Engage internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute contracts and misc agreements
- 7Report procurement metrics and maintain accurate procurement data in systems
- 8Ensure basic understanding of accounts payable and invoicing principles to support payments
- 9Maintain contract management repository knowledge and support financial accounting system usage
- 10Support fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree
- 23-5 years of procurement experience including drafting and awarding vendor contracts
- 3Knowledge of contract management repository platforms and financial accounting systems
- 4Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- 5Experience with procurement tools and systems for data storage and reporting
