What You'll Do8

  • 1Document cosmetic condition, damage, completeness, and wear indicators on motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs
  • 2Capture clear photographs of vehicle conditions for standardized reporting
  • 3Submit completed inspection reports through Yamaha's web portal within 48 hours of inspection completion
  • 4Identify defects, workmanship issues, missing components, and improper installations
  • 5Interpret technical documents, inspection criteria, and manufacturer specifications
  • 6Communicate findings clearly with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients
  • 7Travel to Compton CA and nearby areas as required for on-site inspections
  • 8Adhere to project schedules, currently 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible variations based on site availability

Requirements11

  • 13+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in the Motorcycle & Vehicle field
  • 2NAAA certification or equivalent experience
  • 3Experience inspecting motorcycles, ATVs, and/or UTVs
  • 4Strong knowledge of vehicle components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, body structures, and safety features
  • 5Ability to perform detailed inspections to verify workmanship, assembly quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications
  • 6Skilled in documenting inspection results through detailed reports, photographs, and corrective action recommendations
  • 7Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection checklists, and root cause analysis
  • 8Proficient with digital reporting systems, spreadsheets, and inspection documentation tools
  • 9Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • 10Warehouse/distribution center inspection experience preferred
  • 11Experience with OEM, dealership, manufacturing, or third-party inspection environments preferred
