What You'll Do10

  • 1Build collision reconstructions using CAE tools and test data to determine root cause
  • 2Ship forensic maps and demonstrative diagrams of collision sites and vehicle trajectories
  • 3Lead analysis of single and multi vehicle crashes and intersection signal timing impact
  • 4Prepare and present written reports and client briefings with clear conclusions
  • 5Provide expert testimony and assist litigation teams as needed
  • 6Inspect roadways, signals, devices, and vehicles to collect evidence and validate findings
  • 7Document evidence handling and preserve chain of custody
  • 8Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate analysis and insights
  • 9Contribute to ongoing process improvements in data collection and reporting
  • 10Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards

Requirements11

  • 1S Civil Engineering required
  • 2PE license required
  • 3Master’s degree or Ph.D. in engineering preferred
  • 42-10+ years of accident reconstruction experience
  • 5PTOE certification preferred
  • 6Professional experience in traffic engineering
  • 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 8Independent judgment and strong analytical skills
  • 9Ability to provide expert witness testimony
  • 10Willingness to conduct field inspections and travel up to 25%
  • 11Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
