Vascular Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant
Overview
We seek an Advanced Practice Provider experienced in diagnosing and managing vascular diseases including lower extremity venous insufficiency and peripheral arterial disease. This office-based role focuses on consultations ongoing evaluations follow-up care and in-office procedures. The provider will collaborate with physicians and perform consultations and procedures within their scope after training.
What You'll Do7
- 1Evaluate and manage vascular conditions such as venous insufficiency pelvic congestion syndrome and peripheral arterial disease
- 2Perform minimally invasive procedures like ultrasound guided sclerotherapy and micro phlebectomy
- 3Develop and implement patient specific treatment plans
- 4Educate patients and families on vascular conditions treatment options and care plans
- 5Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialists for comprehensive patient care
- 6Respond to patient inquiries follow ups and emergencies
- 7Document care in electronic medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Requirements7
- 1At least 2 years in an inpatient outpatient or surgical setting
- 2Vascular experience required with procedural experience being a plus
- 3Degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- 4Active NP or PA license in the applicable state
- 5National certification AANP ANCC for NP or NCCPA for PA
- 6Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 7DEA license or ability to obtain
